In general, no personal data are noted and/or stored as a result of using the Bavaria Film Interactive GmbH website. If name, e-mail address or other personal details are required, noted or stored for special offers, this fact will be indicated in an appropriate place. In cases where personal data are transmitted, BFI will abide by the regulations regarding data protection.

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”, text files which are stored on your computer and which permit an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie concerning your use of this website (including your IP address) is transmitted to a Google server in the USA and is stored there. Google and BFI will use this information in order to evaluate your use of the website and to compile reports on the website activities.

The noting, storing and use of personal user data (e.g. name, e-mail address) occurs exclusively according to the strict guidelines laid down by the Federal laws of data protection (BDSG) and the teleservices data protection laws (TDDSG). Above all, the data will be treated as confidential. All data which has been noted will be used in some cases within the company and by co-operation partners for the purposes of market research and advertising. If this is the case, the conditions of use of the offers in question will clearly state the fact.

If BFI is requested not to use the data for further contact and/or to delete the information, it will comply with the request. This means that any user of the website is free to withdraw permission to use the personal data at any time.

On our web pages we refer to a number of co-operation partners who also provide internet pages and services. In general, such companies have their own data protection statements and/or guidelines. BFI assumes no liability for such statements and guidelines which are not directly linked to BFI.
